Season Echo trials: meta report
Three trial chambers, 4,200 ranked entries, one meta that nobody predicted. What the data says about how Australia actually plays this game.

The numbers
Season Echo drew 4,200 ranked entries across three trial chambers — the largest field since launch. Chamber two, a gravity-ring gauntlet over a lava floor, accounted for 58% of all attempts. People kept coming back to it, which either means it was great or it was cruel. Both, probably.
What the top 100 had in common
The meta that emerged was quietly radical: the fastest runs all used a low-power, high-arc entry on chamber two — the exact opposite of the community's first-week consensus that 'speed is king'. The slow line let the gravity ring do the work; the fast line fought it.
Assist-wise, the top 100 split almost evenly: 46 stock, 54 assisted — and every assisted finalist used Slow-Mo Pulse, nothing else. The 'less is more' pattern held across the entire leaderboard.
The winning strategy wasn't faster hands. It was trusting the ring to do what it was designed to do.
The stat that shocked the desk
73% of finalists logged ten or more practice runs during the early-access week — before their first ranked attempt. The pass's practice week isn't a perk; it's the actual competitive advantage.
Season Frost starts next month. The Tournament Pass gets you in a week early — and now you know why that matters.
