Behind the soundscape
Every biome theme shares a single four-note motif — pitched, stretched and re-instrumented until each world sounds like family. The audio postmortem.

Four notes, eight worlds
The score's core is a four-note bell motif — you'll hear it first in the lagoon's marimba, buried in the tutorial's ambience. Every biome theme reharmonises it: Frost Hollow slows it to glass harmonics, Neon Reach compresses it into a synth arp, the finale finally plays it straight.
The effect is subliminal continuity. Players report the finale theme 'sounds like coming home' — it's because the melody literally is.
Instruments, biome by biome
Lagoon: marimba, kalimba, water phone. Dunes: oud, frame drums. Canyon: strings and breath choir. Hollow: glass harmonics, bowed vibraphone. Reach: analogue synths, treated piano. The rule: each world gets one acoustic heart plus one textural signature.
We wanted the soundtrack to feel like one landscape photographed in eight different lights.
The sound of the bounce itself
The Orb's impact sound changes per surface — timber thunks, steel rings, ice crackles — and it's pitch-mapped to your remaining momentum. Skilled players literally hear their speed without looking. That detail took three months and nobody noticed, which is the point.
The full score plus ambience beds is in the OST Bundle — lossless, DRM-free.
